- Usage data: Login timestamps, feature access logs, and error reports used to maintain and improve the platform.
- Enquiry data: Name, email, phone number, and message content submitted through our contact form.
3. How we use your data
We use the data collected solely to:
- Operate and deliver the EduJet platform to your school
- Send service notifications (billing reminders, maintenance alerts)
- Provide customer support
- Improve the platform based on usage patterns
- Respond to enquiries submitted via our contact form
We do not sell, rent, or share your school's data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data storage and security
Your school's data is stored on servers located in Nigeria or within West Africa. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), access control, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage schools to use strong passwords and keep login credentials private.
5. Data ownership
Your school owns all data entered into EduJet — student records, results, fee history, and all other information. We store it on your behalf. You may request a full export of your data at any time by contacting us, and we will provide it within 5 business days at no charge.
6. Data retention
We retain your school's data for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to export records. After this period, data is permanently deleted from our servers. Enquiry form submissions are retained for 24 months.
7. Cookies
The EduJet portal uses session cookies to maintain login state. These are essential to the operation of the platform and cannot be disabled. Our marketing website (this site) does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts.
8. Children's data
EduJet processes data relating to students who may be minors. This data is entered and controlled by the school — the legal data controller — and is processed by Awerange Limited as a data processor acting on the school's instructions. Schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authorisation from parents or guardians to submit student data to the platform.
9. Your rights

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to active school accounts via email or portal notification. Continued use of EduJet after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
